Youth Heritage Program

Dramatic/Educational workshops aimed at deepening the youth's understanding of and appreciation for their own and other immigrants' histories and cultures.

 

Artist-Teacher Development

Developing and enhancing the skills of community aritsts through projects focused on curriculum development and training skills building. Currently in collavoration with After School Matters and the City of Chicago, providing theater arts classes for public high school students.

 

Cultural Bridge

Bridging historical and cultural gaps that result from the diaspora through the rich interplay of both American and Immigrant dramaturgy. Main stage production is a collaboration with other arts groups. Integral to this program is creating an artist-exchange or artist residency program.

 

Community Playhouse

Focused on the further development of theater craft and dramaturgy. The program involves drama workshops, community forums and the exploration of other performative expressions.

Drama Incubator

Providing opportunities of exploring narratives and honing skills in the areas of playwriting, acting and directing. The main goal of the program is specialization.

Gender Speaks: The Monologue Series

Focused on exploring narratives about gender and utilizes the Monologue form/genre as its storytelling methodology.
